Well what a nice break from the last week it was. Today I saw a short burst of sunshine through the clouds, but then it quickly got blocked by the clouds, but it was certainly refreshing. I hope that this week we get another burst of sunlight but it isn't looking good with 75%-100% sky cover and light snow flurries through the week.
I want to give a shout out to all the plow truck drivers, road crews, and tow truck drivers that keep our roads clear and safe during winter. A winter storm like we just saw doesn't phaze them, the next morning our roads were clear. We have the best road crews give them a wave next time you see them on the roadways keeping the roads clear.
I also want to remind everyone that you really should get a shovel in your vehicle, kitty litter or bag/bucket of sand, a tow strap, jumper cables/jumper box, flashlight, blanket/s, reflective vest, and a flashlight/headlamp. You'll be able to help yourself get unstuck or help another person get unstuck.
