Well folks, not sure what to say other than what has been said in the past few posts, very little snow and it doesn’t appear much will be heading our way for over a week, and frankly I am not sure we will see any stations reach 100 inches before the end of January, which is almost unheard of for a typical UP winter. We shall see, we shall see.
I will have and update tomorrow too as much of the UP saw a little snow today and the Soo area really saw some nice lake effect today, might see some 8+ inch snow totals tomorrow out in the far north east areas. Elsewhere saw some flurries but nothing close to what it was like in the eastern UP today.

Warmup coming Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, get out those BBQ grills once again or maybe head to the beach and stick your feet in the sand, really most beaches are snow and ice free still along Lake Superior and Lake Michigan.
I’ll be paying close attention to the models for any possible good news on the snow, quick someone start doing the heikki lunta snow dance.
Paying subscribers make it possible for me to do these snow reports, videos, and live drives. Please consider becoming a paid subscriber so I can drive more often away from the Keweenaw and do more snow reports. Thanks so much for your support.
Also if you aren’t already I would ask you please subscribe to the FunintheUP Youtube channel
