UP Snow Totals Feb 17/18th
Little chance of snow, single digit temps return for a short time.

Not much to write with this update. Expecting warmer weather the next few days before it turns a little colder. There is a slight chance for 1-4 inches of lake effect snow Thurs/Friday but I really don’t see more than a couple inches. There’s a cold air mass moving into the region into the weekend but it appears there won’t be much moisture associated with this system as it moves into the region. Drier air will keep any snow to a minimal amount. Clearing skies late Friday will all but cut off any chances of snow and bring in some some cold temps into the early morning hours of Saturday with low teens with even some single digits across the central and western UP.
There’s a good chance we might see some mixed precipitation around the 28th, rain, snow, sleet, to close out the month of February 2024.
Chances of snow are fading fast day by day. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been getting the itch for spring lately.
