U.P. Snow Totals Jan 7th
Light snow into the weekend, possible storm mid week next week.
Overall not a lot of snow overnight just a few inches across the Upper Peninsula, light lake effect snow. Winds were really calm compared to the last week which was ok considering the temperatures dipped into the single digits overnight in areas and stayed in the teens for the last few days.
Tonight temps may reach low single digits with some areas may even record negative single digits and possible may even see some negative teens tomorrow when we get that data.
We shouldn’t see but a few inches of snow through the weekend before a clipper arrives early next week bringing with it more cold air and more snowfall to those NW snowbelts. Amount of snow is still coming together, but will most likely be a bit less than the last storm, at least that’s what it appears as of now.
