UP Snow Totals Nov 11&12th, 2022
Winter is here to stay for 2022/23
Back to the snowfall totals now that warm weather has left us, this is the time of the year that the snow starts becoming a more regular occurrence, almost daily through the middle or March, some in April, and we see a few flurries in May most years. Just a week and a half ago we had temps in the mid and upper 70s. Roads were a bit slick today with a handful of people getting into accidents or in the ditch. If you haven’t gotten your snow tires on do it asap, not sure why people wait until the last minute to do that. Also get your vehicles prepped up with some emergency supplies like a blanket, snow shovel, jumper cables or jumper box, flashlight with extra batteries, a tow strap, some kitty litter for traction under your tires or a bucket of sand in case you get stuck. Those are just a few things that will help you should you get stuck on the side of the road in the winter.
