I’ll save more words for the update tomorrow. Had some internet issues tonight and it’s getting late, plus there is a lot more snow to fall tonight into Sunday morning so there will be plenty to write up for tomorrow.
Most of the heavier lake effect should be moving out by mid afternoon Sunday with some lingering flurries into Monday, but there is another little something coming mid week next week.
If you have friends or family traveling back across the Mackinac bridge I would suggest them taking off a couple hours earlier than they planned. Conditions on the roads may be pretty bad especially on I75 from the Soo to St. Ignace and along I75 below the bridge into Gaylord.
Travel across the Western UP should be pretty good as most road crews are very adapt at keeping the roadways cleared and most of the heavier lake effect should be minimal by the time Sunday afternoon.
