Updated: 10.4.22- 1155pm- I updated some percentages today after being out in the western UP today. Color really progressed the last couple days from what I last saw even as little as two days ago.

U.P. Wide Overall Color Change - 35%-PEAK
If you snooze you loose when it comes to fall colors in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Many times people wait until it's to late to visit. I always tell people even if color is around 50% to 70% it is still nice, often times during the week the color can change quickly and that is what happened the last 10 days. Starting last week the cold temps at night for around 4 days really kicked off the fall color, add a little rain in and the colors get more vibrant, then add another good 5 or 7 days this last week with some more colder temps and we start hitting peak from 50% color.
